He’s back! We are thrilled to announce that booking has now opened for live performances of Witchfinder, our immersive music theatre production inspired by the infamous Matthew Hopkins, self proclaimed ‘Witchfinder General’.
Performances are at Walpole Old Chapel, near Halesworth, Suffolk on May 21st (17:00) and 22nd (14:30 & 17:00). Tickets £10.
Mingle with the inhabitants of Walpole as they get ready for their annual village fair, and join in their excitement as they welcome an esteemed guest; a local witchfinder. Festivities soon take a dark turn as Rebecca, a local school teacher, and other villagers are accused of witchcraft.
The show, supported by Arts Council England, combines elements of immersive theatre, music and song in a narrative that explores themes of prejudice, difference and division within communities.
Suitable for the whole family, all performances include integrated audio description and BSL interpretation.
