Weekly singing sessions to support health & wellbeing
Research has shown that singing regularly with others has many health benefits including:
- Improvement of cardiorespiratory functions and immune system
- Reduction of stress hormone levels
- Increased feelings of connection with others.
- Supporting brain health as we age
Tonic at Leiston Library
Live in or near Leiston? Why not join us on Wednesday mornings for Tonic: Singing for Health workshops at Leiston Library. These friendly and accessible sessions are led by singing leader and composer Francis Goodhand. You don’t need to be an experienced singer, and you can choose what you join in with.

Term dates 2026:
Wednesday mornings 10:30 – 12:00
Summer: 29 April – 1 July
Free to attend and you don’t need to book
Sessions are seated and cater for people living with a range of mobility and health needs
