Training for healthcare practitioners
Are you working in a health, social care or clinical setting? Do you want to find out more about how engaging with arts and cultural activities might help the people you are working with?
Our interactive half-day course will:
- Provide a background to ‘creative health’ and improve understanding of how regular engagement with arts & culture can have positive impacts on health & wellbeing
- Offer the opportunity to learn about (and try out) activities on offer as part of our Creative Health programme
- Explore how engaging with such activities benefit people living with specific health challenges (e.g. Parkinson’s, Long Covid, brain fog, anxiety)
- Build confidence around starting conversations with patients about the potential of arts and culture
In our most recent course, 100% of delegates said they found the session ‘very useful’
“It was just the right balance of theory and practice. I loved it myself and it gave me increased confidence to refer clients.”
