Cohere Arts is delighted to be working in partnership with St Helena Hospice in Colchester to pilot an innovative new programme using creative arts to support families going through the end of life process.
Each family taking part in the pilot will be matched with a ‘creative companion’ – a specialist arts health practitioners who will work with them to:
- Understand their needs, challenges, creative interests and aspirations
- Co-produce a bespoke programme of creative and cultural activities
- Facilitate creative activities in the home setting (this may include participation in or appreciation of visual art, poetry, craft activities, creative writing, reading, music/singing, or heritage)
- Signpost opportunities to continue arts/cultural engagement beyond the end of the programme
